Videoduo is an app designed to facilitate the communication across generations. This is a
collaborative video making tool used inside families or with
friends for different generations to work together on one video project.
Since Internet and smart devices become popularize, more and more senior users start to use Tiktok as a way of entertaining and sharing their contents. It has inspired the platform to develop features and Internet celebrities in response to this situation.

In
order to further investigate the pattern of senior users on tiktok and how
people from different ages think about this issue. I interviewed six people with
different ages, different interest areas and different habits of using Tiktok.
Based on my research, my response is a video making tool called Videoduo. The app is mainly designed for middle-aged or senior users who wants to share videos on platform like Tiktok but don’t know where to start. It is also designed to include younger generations as video partners to help and collaborate with older generations.
